Community Outreach At Lakeview
The Evangelical arm of Streams of Joy London visited Lake view Home – one of the biggest care home at Thamesmead, South East
London on the 29th of November 2024. The Team were received by one of the management personnel and were led to the massive home
where all residents were waiting for the arrival of SoJLondon Evangelism Team.
Christmas on the Street
Another community outreach project is our popular “Christmas on the Street” event which is our annual community outreach event. This project started last year at Gordon Square Woolwich Centre with a tag name, “Woolwich Arise”. This event witnessed about 200 people in attendance. The purpose of this event is to bring the homeless, the disadvantaged and hard-to-reach members of our community together in the spirit of Christmas. We donate free winter coats, dry foods, hand bags, shoes and other warm clothing to the homeless etc. This event was attended by the Royal Borough of Greenwich Mayor, Cllr Dominic Mbang.
Erith Community outreach event
Erith community outreach was amazing!! Lives were touched as we distributed dry foods and other essentials to the community. This event was one of its kind as the Evangelism Team and “The Bridge” stormed Erith town centre with music bringing joy and dance to all. The food
and other essential were distributed to everyone regardless of religious background or ethnicity, We had opportunity to steered up the hope of those who were sick and discourage.
Trafalgar Square Community outreach.
SoJLondon embarked on a massive community outreach event to marked the anniversary of NSPPD. The open deck tour bus used for the day drove through targeted London Borough with planned stops for food distribution and outreach activities. At Trafalgar Square, the community united together as they sang in one accord, dance and shared the message of hope with the public. This event brought joy and gladness to everyone. Streams of Joy London is devoted to see lives transformed, hope restored and many healed from hopeless sicknesses and also healed emotionally through effective counselling.
